We had a visit from Simon last year, he came on a ride with friends who made the 3 1/2 hour ride to check us out. He had an unfinished project of a VMAX chop that needed to be completed. From the pictures he showed us on his phone - his bike looked mega.
After we slotted it into our work schedule, the bike arrived and work could begin. Simon had a clear image in his mind of how he wanted the bike to look and we used his vision to produce this dominant custom bike.

We had a call from a customer asking us if building a Street Tracker is the kind of thing we do. It is exactly the kind of thing we do and we were excited at the opportunity. This customer already had the donor bike so we could start straight away.
When it came to donor bike choice for a Street Tracker, a 2002 Kawasaki ER5 would not be very high on our list of bikes that lend themselves to this type of build - an ER5 was what the customer had - so an ER5 is what we would work with.
We are stoked at the end result giving a credible Street Tracker style and look from an unlikely candidate.

The cafe racer, we built specifically for the Bike Shed show at Tobacco Dock 2024. While the engine remains stock, it is the only original part from the bike we started with that remains unchanged. The single sided swingarm and mono shock conversion, crafted in house, sets this bike apart from the abundance of less radical builds based on this popular Honda.
All custom parts, designed and manufactured in house, sets this bike aside and it went down a storm at the show of 2024. With an extremely high level of attention to detail, Kustom Choppers aspire to carve a path that is very different from the competition, allowing us to stand out as a one of a kind bike builder.
